what is a crème? 

a crème is the French translation for “cream”. we prefer this version of the term as it describes the product beautifully – light and fluffy, but with some serious substance. it’s one step heavier than a lotion and deeply hydrates.

when and how do I use a facial crème or cream?

we love to use it twice daily, after our morning and evening cleanses. begin with our oatmeal cleansing milk, follow with the lotus flower & rosewater toner, and then apply the jasmine serum to damp skin. follow with the lotus & lychee facial crème if needed, and finish with your bakuchiol & pomegranate facial oil to lock in moisture.  

why is it important to use a facial cream or crème?

using a face cream or crème helps to retain the moisture and elasticity in your skin, reducing wrinkles, age spots and fine lines. face creams and crèmes also act as a protective barrier for your skin.

are face cream and moisturizer the same?

a moisturizer is used to restore hydration in the skin, while a cream or crème also adds a barrier layer to seal in moisture.

what is a face cream made of?

creams and crèmes are made of oil and water, which are combined with use of an emulsifier. the concentration of the oil can be increased or decreased to make the product creamier or lighter, as desired.

can men use this product?

this crème is quite gentle, but men should exercise care with use if they have just shaved as we’ve included ylang ylang essential oil. but don’t worry, we have a little something just for you: anokha man.
